Whilst browsing through Flickr I came across a lovely photo of my favourite flowers which are Gerbera Daisies.
They're colourful, bright and evoke feelings of happiness and vitality. Wouldn't you agree?
I think that flowers are sometimes forgotten or ignored but personally, I love receiving flowers. I know that they may be cliche` but if so it's for a reason. If flowers are given so often it's because they are in fact a lovely gift.
In the film Imagine Me and You one of the centre features is a flower shop and the florist would pick out specific flowers according to the need of the occasion. I believe that there are different flowers for different occasions but I will always be happy with daisies.
(That isn't the Flickr photo btw)

I love bright-coloured flowers. They cheer me up so well! But would you believe, my husband has never even purchased me flowers? Not once! So I really don't remember what it's like to receive them! :(
ReplyDelete@Mrs Charlie - oh no :/ I'd remedy that and just let him know that you like flowers and you'd love receiving some. Maybe he'll surprise you :)
ReplyDeleteyay my wedding flowers! LOVE them! x
ReplyDelete@cgw - Hehe nice!!!
ReplyDeleteI never used to like receiving flowers. It just didn't do anything for me. But lately, I've been craving them!
ReplyDeleteHmmm I should tell my boyfriend to read this post... I think all girls like to receive flowers now and then! Haven't seen a single one for years now! hahahha
ReplyDeleteJen - If you can't get someone to buy them for you, just go ahead and buy yourself some :)
ReplyDeleteToothfairy - Definitely! :)
