Frock Swap (for people in Malta)

Do you have way too many clothes and accessories that you no longer wear but are still in good nick so it would be a shame to throw them away? Well, help is at hand as the lovely Fish in Malta is organising a frock swap on 30th July.

Head over to her specially created blog http://fish-frock-swap.blogspot.com/ for all the details and get rummaging through your wardrobe. Remember that items need to be in good condition and they must be clean. You wouldn't want someone's smelly, t-shirt-with-a-hole so there's no reason why they would want yours!

Apart from getting yourself some great, new pieces you will also be helping out Noah's Ark Foundation as there is a €5 entrance 'fee' which is donated to this great cause. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.

Game of Thrones

I started watching Game of Thrones, the latest HBO hit series, which apart from being quite sensational was also largely filmed in Malta. By started, I mean I've only watched the first episode; however, I will definitely be continuing the series. Time constraints are always an issue.

It's a curious, yet entertaining, feeling watching a programme and recognising the locations. It's even stranger when they cut from location to location which seemingly follow each other in the programme, yet you are well aware that they are geographically nowhere near each other.

Malta is quite a popular filming location, currently Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (plus kids) are on the island while Brad films World War Z.  They've been spotted around the island; I haven't bumped into them yet!
