Summer Fun

I swam in the Med for the first time this summer! Hehe, that's pretty strange for the end of June. This morning I met Niki and we went to Ghajn Tuffieha and we spent a very relaxing three hours, sunbathing, swimming and lunching :) We found a good parking place, a good spot on the beach and also a table where to have lunch... so things went our way! Also, there was a gorgeous breeze constantly blowing so we could lie in the sun without dripping to within an inch of our lives. Now I'm at work, after a lovely refreshing shower and will be here until this evening.

I'm actually a bit tired as a result of the sun exposure but also after having just 6 hours' sleep - after a full day's work, then a 2-hour stint at Exiles and then a few vodkas at the party and getting home at about 3:00 a.m. (I think!) So methinks that tonight I might just go straight home after work... unless there's something fun happening hehe. I also have work tomorrow morning and then I'm invited for lunch + tea + swimming.

All aboard

I spent yesterday evening at a dinner party on an Italian military vessel surrounded by many many men in white uniforms... Mmmm ;)

Nicole invited me along because she knew one of them and he told her that she could bring some friends with her. It ended up being just us two but it was still really fun. It was a new experience because I had never been on a ship like that before and we got a tour of the place seeing the artillery on board and all the switches and gadgets in the control room - very interesting :)

There was a lovely buffet and an even lovlier dessert buffet *sigh*. I was good and limited myself to just two types of dessert - profiteroles and tiramisu :) I spoke mostly to the Italian crew but there were Turks, English, Dutch and Americans on board too because they are all working together on the same operation so after Malta they'll be heading towards France which is their last port of call. I spoke to the captain of the English ship for a little while and he told me that he was trying to figure out how he was going to get the boat away from the wall and out of the port, so I suggested that he get all his men to push! Hehehe. He started laughing and told me that I could captain the ship! *lol*

The party came to a close at about 23:00 so we left but not before we took photos inside the helicopter on board! When we arrived we took photos beside it, but we wanted to get inside it... so we did :)

Definitely a fun evening, and a very different one too!

Hen's Night

Great hen's night yesterday. It was really good to catch up with some people whom I haven't seen in a while and just party with the girls :) I took charge of Shaz's camera and snapped lots of group photos - for the memories *awww* We also have some amusing photos with a willy on a wand! I was convinced that the wand was actually a measuring stick *snigger* After the private party we headed into Paceville and into the claws of desperate men who invade Fuego. I felt like a bar of chocolate at a slimmer's camp! I don't think these men have ever seen a pussy in their lives. They're cavemen! So then I turned to one of them and said 'I'd like a drink please'... he gave me a look of shock and horror and scampered away! Ask a loser to part with his money and he'll be gone before you know it! Haha! But it was a fun night and I'm looking forward to the wedding :)
