Exam is over

It's over! :D

Three hours of Financial Accounting in the morning and three hours of Costing in the afternoon is enough to make anyone feel a huge wave of relief once the exam is over, and boy did I feel relieved as I walked out of the school at 19:01! It was definitely a stressful subject but I don't regret doing it although I do think that it must have been a moment of madness. And to think that I wanted to do Economics as well! Ha!

Paper 1 was pretty difficult and I didn't really have enough time but Paper 2 was much better so I'm hoping that it will make up for it.

Now I can go back to normal life - lots of work and hopefully a fair amount of play too ;) And I can get back to reading and do some spring cleaning and just get some general order going again.

Exam is nigh

I'm longing for tomorrow - time 19:01 because then it will all be over. I've really overdosed on Accounts these past three days and I think that something actually did filter into my brain and get lodged there (hopefully it won't seep out overnight). There are all these other things that I want to do (apart from study) and the likelihood is that once the exam is over I won't want to do them anymore! Because that's the way the cookie crumbles right?!

But the nice thing is that Thursday is a holiday so the week is nice and bitsy :) I hope it's hot on Thursday because I want to go sunbathing. I have swam on May 1 in previous years but it is extremely unlikely that I'll be repeating that this year!

Accounts

Weekend is over once again :( I didn't do as much studying as I intended to, nowhere near as close but... m'hemmx taghmel at this point. One week left and will try and make the most of it. I just read through the notes of the last topic and tomorrow he'll explain it during the lesson. It doesn't seem to bad but it has formulae and I hate having to remember them. I think it's a bit silly to have to memorize formulae for accounts because on the job you'd use Sage and Excel and it would calculate everything for you. I think the important thing should be testing whether the student knows how to apply the formula not their memory skills of it. Ah well... I was never a big fan of examinations as a method of knowledge testing. I believe that projects are more accurate and in-depth, although I wouldn't really want to do an Accounts project mind you! *shudder* A friend of mine just did her thesis in Accounting (Hons.) - very brave!
