Blabbing
I know I haven't written since the bloggers' meet... I just haven't been in the mood. To be quite honest, I'm not feeling it now either but I thought, might as well put down a couple of words to show that I'm still breathing.
Firstly the meet was great fun. From the drive there, picking up Toni, Maltagirl and Hsejjes on the way, until we left the band club, which was punctuated by visits from Queen Pea, Reesa and hubby, Coemgen, and Kenneth and gf.
Another one will be organised in a couple of month's time for those who missed it, or thought that it wasn't worth attending!

Bulletin Board
* Bloggers' Meet is taking place on Thursday, 10 August at 21:00 20:00 at Balzan Band Club (in the yard). Feel free to turn up later if you like :)
* There are 2 band clubs in the pjazza; we are going to the one that is in front of the front door of the church which has a large zuntier. The band club has a green door and about 4 steps leading up to it.
* You can get to it either by passing through St. Anthony Street in Attard (which is the street behind San Anton Gardens) and then turning right at the end of the street when you reach Percius; keep driving down and you'll come to the Church.
OR
Through B'Kara; pass McDonalds, get to Papillon Cafe, turn round the little roundabout and go up the street on your right which is straight ahead (don't turn right again). Keep going straight till you reach Qronfla and the Balzan Pharmacy, keep going straight up and you're in the pjazza.
OR
From the B'Kara bypass, once you reach the Lija roundabout; keep to your left, and turn around the Pasta factory (yellow building - if it still is) [do not head into the road of Smart supermarket]. Keep going straight and you'll get to the Dolphin Complex, turn right and keep going straight up, which will take you past Qronfla, etc.
* I hope I haven't confused you too much! It's not difficult... really!
* Feel free to bring your better halves with you, or your good-looking, single, male friends :) [ages 24-30 please hehe]
* Food is available from the bar, and drinks are mandatory. It's a very very relaxed place, no waiters scurrying about to make sure that your water glass is filled :)
* Now I'm off to Valletta to buy shoes :)

Bloggers Bash

It seems that Balzan Band Club which has a big yard, cheap drinks and serves pizza is getting signs of approval. Unless people would rather go out to eat pizza at an actual pizzeria? SUGGESTIONS?

Calling all bloggers....
EDIT: it might be a better idea to set a date for the meet, so how about THURSDAY 10 AUGUST?
Please suggest venues! :) Final decision to be taken by the end of this week.
Since there are more people in the Will and Grace cast, than there were at the last bloggers meet, it's been decided that another one should be organised, where hopefully more people can attend.
Week proposed: 7-13 August (one day during this week - though not Monday cos I already have plans; so 8 - 13 August!)
Venue is to be decided but any suggestions will be appreciated and taken into consideration. Keep in mind space and prices when coming up with something, so unless you'd like to be incredibly altruistic, we cannot meet at Blue Elephant. If someone has a nice terrace, garden or roof where he/she would like to host the do, that would be fantastic and then everyone will put on their aprons and bring some culinary delights; or do as I do and buy something from the supermarket :)
All bloggers are invited, even if you're not regular commentators (commenters?) or are very shy. Most bloggers are very nice, dejjem issib dawk it-tnejn antipici imma x'taghmel?! :P Seriously, leave a comment here or at Maltagirl's blog and let's have a proper bloggers bash.
